The Kishoreganj district administration on Thursday noon distributed foods items at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Stadium among at least 300 families who lost their jobs during the lockdown due to Covid-19.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohamad Shamim Alam presided over distribution ceremony while Police Super (SP) Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM ( Bar) and Civil Surgeon ( CS) Dr. Mujibur Rahman were attended as special guests.
District Awami league General Secretary Advocate MA Afzol, Mayor Pervez Miah and others dignified persons were also present.
Each packet of food items contained 10 kg rice 2 liter Soyabean Oil, 2 kg Patato, 1 kg pulses, 1kg Onion and half kg sugar.
