Police have quizzed several witnesses including Kishore Alo Magazine (Daily Prothom Alo’s youth supplement) Editor Anisul Hoque over the death of Dhaka Residential Model School and College (DRMC) student Nayeemul Abrar Rahat.
As a part of the investigation over the incident, Anisul was interrogated with other witnesses, said Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) GG Biswas.
“We can quiz anybody to find out what really happened,” the OC said.
Meanwhile, on a Facebook post, Editor of the daily Prothom Alo’s youth supplement, Anisul expressed condolence over the death of Nayeemul Abrar.
He, however, claimed that he was unaware of why the student was not taken to the nearby state-run hospital.
On Nov 1, Nayeemul Abrar, a ninth-grader non-residential student of DRMC, was electrocuted by a power generator during a program organized by Kishore Alo on the DRMC premises.
