Baschu Mridha (40), killer of 2 minor brothers in the village Lailatala within Baraikhali Union under Morrelganj Upazila in the district was arrested by the police of Morrelganj PS with the help of the police of Mongla PS on Sunday.
Md. Aslam Khan, Officer-in-charge of Morrelganj PS disclosed, Baschu Mridha confessed to the police that he had killed Mirajul (11) and Riazul (8), two school students and sons of one Babu Hawladar and committed rape on their old grand mother at the night
In connection with his tragic incident Babu Howladar, father of the deceased 2 minor brothers filed a case with Morrelganj PS against Baschu Mridha and 4 others . Md. Hayatul Islam,in-charge of Police Super, Bagerhat visited the place of occurrence. The raped woman was sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for her medical examination.
