Law enforcers on Tuesday morning rescued a teenage girl, who had been kidnapped on the way of Moholalbazar area in Rajnagor Upazila of Moulvibazar back to resident return from Moulvibazar court at 4p on Monday .
The victim was 18 years old in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar District.
A team of Rajnagor police conducted a raid on the abandoned house of Dughar village in Rajnagor Upazila of Moulvibazar District and rescued the victim at 8am on Tuesday . Police source said, arrested five traffickers are identified as Rukon Khan,28, Jewel Ahmed,26, Sahidul Islam, 27, Nur Ali, 22, Sahan Miah, 25 in Rajnagor Upazila of Moulvibazar District had kidnapped the girl on way Moholalbazaar area under Moulvibazar-Kulauna road and brought him there in a bid to traffic her through on Monday afernoon.
When contacted, Rafiqul Islam, ASI of Rajnagor police station and IO of the case confirmed the matter to The New Nation. He said, police handed over the girl in her family.
