Police rescued a 5-month old child after 6 days of his abduction yesterday.
The child was kidnapped from Failatali area under Pahartali thana in city . After rescuing , the child returned to the lap of her mother.
The child lifter Ayesha Akhter(19) was arrested by police. Pahartali thana police sources said one beggar named Ayesha abducted the child from house on July 28 last and left Chittagong for Dhaka immediately with the abducted child.
Dhaka police rescued the child while crying severely at Dhaka airport area while begging on July 31 last. Witnessing the crying of the child, police suspected her and rescued the child from her lap. Police sources said detained Ayesha sent to Chittagong court on Saturday and ordered to sent her to jail. The child was returned to the parents of the child
