Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Sunday rescued an eight-year old boy, who was kidnapped three days back from city’s Nasirabad area.
Police also arrested two alleged kidnappers- Nazma Akhter Ruma, 22 and Suiching Marma Suman, 26.
DB sources said Ruma kidnapped Mohammad Rabbi, 8, from his residence in city’s East Nasirabad area on October 18 and demanded TK one lakh 30 thousand as ransom from his father.
Following a case filed by victim’s father with city’s Khulshi thana, police conducted a drive in Roazan upazila of the district and arrested Ruma and Suman on Monday night.
