After doing an intense film like Kabir Singh, Kiara Advani will now be seen in a comedy with Good Newwz. However, she is candid enough to say that she finds it tough to switch from one track to another. She said that shooting for the comedy was challenging initially as she began working on it right after doing an intense film, especially since she had to transform from a quiet subdued Preeti of Kabir Singh to a loud Punjabi woman Monica in Good Newwz.
What made it more difficult was that Kiara was not familiar with Punjabi language. Interestingly, her co-stars, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and and Diljit Dosanjh were all Punjabis.
So, the actress would sit and watch Punjabi videos. She also watched Diljit’s Punjabi films just to get her lines right.
Though Kiara likens the experience to switching gears literally, she found the experience fulfilling as she likes to take on challenges.
