Jatiya Oikyafront aspirant for Khulna-2 constituency Nazrul Islam Manju on Saturday alleged that police have snatched away forms of ‘sheaf of paddy’ polling agents and also threatening voters as well as conducting mess arrest.
Monju, also the president of Khulna city unit BNP, came up with the allegation at a press briefing onpre-electionsituation at his residence atMiyaparain the town.
At the same time, Awami League’s ‘terrorists’ attacked BNP workers’ houses and also set fire on those, he added.
In this situation, he said the chief election commissioner should have deployed Army since Friday noon.
He also said the ‘Awami miscreants’ with the help of Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge on Friday night snatched away all polling agents’ forms from the possession of former municipality councillor Rokeya’s house.

Monju also alleged police along with ‘Awami terrorists’ have created panic among the locals since last night.
“In my areas, they have set up barricades in all intersections and carrying out attacks on BNP men since last night. They have also deployed ‘Awami men’ in an around my residence,” he said.
He also alleged that AL men took positions in all the intersections of the city to prevent voters from going to polling stations.
BNP city unit General Secretary Md Moniruzzaman, Khulna Lawyers’ Association President Advocate Nurul Hasan Ruba, Sirajul Islam, Mollah Abul Kasem and Kazi Mahmud Ali were present at the briefing.
