Humaira Eshika, hailed from Jaleshwari Tola of Bogura, reached in the final round of music reality show, Khudey Gaanraj in 2016. This year she will appear in the SSC examinations. Last year she got the opportunity to render songs in several
numbers of TV dramas. This year her original
song is going to release under the banner of Dhruba Music Station. Title of the song is Onek Bhalobashi. Robiul Islam Jibon wrote lyrics of the song, while Adib Kabir has composed its music. Mahtim was co-singer of Eshika. This song will be released on YouTube channel in January. Eshika is very much optimistic about her upcoming song.
In the meantime, Eshika also got the opportunity to lend her voice for a patriotic song titled Praner Bangladesh recently. Jasim Uddin wrote lyrics of the song while Tonmoy Mahamudul composed
its music. Therefore, she also lent her voice for another song which lyrics were written by Ariful Islam Mamun and music was composed by Rupon Chowdhury. Tousif was Eshika’s co-singer in this song. In last Victory Day, including Eshika some singers rendered a special chorus song titled
Lal Sabujer Feriwala. Prashenjit Ojha wrote lyrics of the song while Shovon Roy composed its music. Eshika rendered songs Hobei Joy in drama Sweeper and Chhuye Dibo Adore in drama Amader Biye
and a song in the drama The Teacher attracted the viewers’ attentions. Eshika first learned music from Abdul Awal. Later, she also received
lessons from Samina Chowdhury and SI Tutul.
She received training in classical music from Ustad Yakub Ali Khan. While talking about her dreams with music Eshika said, “I want to step forward with music and also want to present more beautiful songs for the listeners. I also want to be popular face in the field of music.” Born on June 26, Eshika is now studying at Siddheswari Girls’ College.
