Khoka wasn’t allowed to enter the country: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the former Mayor of undivided Dhaka City Corporation and a freedom fighter, Sadeque Hossain Khoka, was not allowed to enter the country when he was alive.
He said, “This is shameful for the nation. We do not want a repeat of the incident.”
He said, it in a remarks on Thursday, while paying

respect to party founder Ziaur Rahman marking the 7th on November at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, which the party observes as the National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
Mirza Fakhrul told that Khoka served the nation and people; the government lodged a false case against him.”
“We are taking an oath today to uphold the freedom and sovereignty of the nation and ensure democracy.”
He accused the government of making Bangladesh into an ineffective state. At this time among others BNP leaders Dr. Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr. Moin Khan, Selima Rahman and others were present.
