A case has been filed against a Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police and few others with the Khilgaon Police Station of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Ramizul Islam on Friday filed the case accusing
them of attempting to grab a plot by breaking two sides of the boundary wall in the Banasree area in the city on Thursday night, said Mainul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon Police Station.
The accused SI has been identified as Awal Hossain, the Police official said.
But the OC could not mention of his current posting. He, however, assured that the SI will be traced today (Saturday) with the help of Crime Investigation Department (CID).
Police arrested seven persons in this connection, the OC said. The identities of the detained people could not be known instantly, he said.
“We are investigating the case,” he said.
