Having melodious voice talented singer Maliha Tabassum Kheya started her journey in music professionally in 2013 through releasing an album of the song Manena Mon Aamar. In movie Poramon, Symon and Mahiya Mahi performed with the song Poramon Poramon Tor Preme Poramon was Kheya rendered a mentionable play-back. Therefore, in Bappi and Mahi-starred movie Onek Sadher Moina Aamar, Kheya rendered another play-back song titled Aamar E Pran Bolechhe, which also got popularity among the listeners.
In play-back song, Kheya could become a busy singer but somehow due to unknown reason she cannot become successful in play-back or original songs and stage shows. Bolona Kothai Tumi is the most popular original song rendered by Kheya. This song was viewed more than one crore viewers. Anurup Aich wrote lyrics of the song while Arfin Rumey composed its music. Arfin Rumey was also co-singer of Kheya in this song. Kheya also got popularity to render the play-back song O Akash Bole Denare Preme Porechhe Mon. Therefore, she received more appreciation to render title song of Mostafizur Rahman Manik directed movie Kichhu Asha Kichhu Bhalobasha and for movie Action Jasmine. She also got appreciation to render play-back song titled Tumi Chhara Ekdin with Asif Akbar for Bappi-Pori Moni-starred movie Lover Number One.
Though Kheya is a full-fledged singer but cannot get better opportunity to render song properly. She said with frustration, “I am trying to develop my skill in own songs. But I cannot know why I am not getting better opportunity to render song. Everybody appreciated my voice and rendering style who worked with me till now. I am grateful and owe to them. But I want to be regular in the field of music and stage shows. I believe they will evaluate my performances who worked with me. I shall try to keep their dignity, Inshallah.”
