Khawaja Rahmatullah resigns from General Secretary of BHF

Khawaja Rahmatullah announced on Friday his resignation from the post of General Secretary of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF). Rahmatullah submitted his resignation letter in an Executive Committee meeting of BHF held on the same day. Former Joint-Secretary of BHF Abdus Sadek has taken his post and Rahmatullah will be acting as a Joint-Secretary of BHF.
Earlier, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, Dhaka Mariners Youngs Club, Ajax Sporting Club and other two or three clubs boycotted the Premier Division Hockey League demanding the resignation of Rahmatullah.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Hockey Federation announced on Friday that the players’ transfer window of Premier Division Hockey League will be held on December 13,14 and 15.
After resignation of Khawaja Rahmatullah, the teams, which boycotted the Premier Division Hockey League will take part in the players’ transfer programme.
Besides, the rebel hockey players joined the national camp at BKSP on Friday.
