Former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and also an eminent criminal law expert Khandker Mahbub Hossain has been kept on life support in the Evercare Hospital in the capital.
He was given life support at Evercare Hospital around 5:30 pm on Wednesday after his physical condition deteriorated, said his fellow Advocate Masud Rana.
Khandker Mahbub was admitted in the said hospital on August 16 after he tested corona positive and has been receiving treatment in the hospital since then.
He started his journey as an Advocate on January 31 in 1965 and was enrolled for the High Court in 1967.
He was elected SCBA President for four times, and Vice-Chairman two times of the Bangladesh Bar Council. He is now a Vice-Chairman of BNP.
