Khalilur Rahman appointed LGED Chief Engr

Additional Chief Engineer (Rural Infrastructure Development and Management) of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Md. Khalilur Rahman has been appointed as the Chief Engineer of LGED on Wednesday , says a press release.
 He has taken charge on Thursday (May 9). Khalilur replaced former Chief Engineer Md. Abul Kalam Azad as he has retired from the government service on May 9, 2019.
He completed Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1982 and earned Master’s in Highway Management and Engineering from Birmingham University, UK in 2000.
He attended various seminars and workshops on project management, quality control, design and asset management at home and abroad. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers of Bangladesh (IEB).
Khalilur Rahman was born in Gorshab village of Kapashiya Upazila under Gazipur district. He is blessed by three sons and one daughter.
