UNB, Dhaka :
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is going to Brahmanbaria on Tuesday to address a public rally there in bid to mobilise public support in favour of a fresh election under a non-party neutral administration.
The local unit of the BNP-led 20-party alliance will organise the rally at Niaz Mohammad High School in the district Sadar.
The rally will begin around 3:00pm. The BNP chief will start her journey for Brahmanbaria from her Gulshan residence around 11am.
She is scheduled to return to the capital on the same day after attending the rally, party sources said.
This will be Khaleda’s third district tour after the January-5 election boycotted by the BNP-led opposition alliance.
Earlier, Khaleda, also a former Prime Minister, went to Munshiganj on May 28 and Joypurhat on June 22 and addressed public rallies there.
