BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s proposals on the formation of new election commission can be a base to initiate a dialogue for holding a competitive national election with the participation of all political parties.
Mirza Fakhrul was addressing as Chief Guest at the District Conference- 2016 of Kishoreganj held at Atithi Community Center in the town on Tuesday with District BNP President Adv Fazlur Rahman in the chair.
It was addressed among others by BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Abdus Salam as special guest, Joint Secretary Mujibur Rahman Sarowar, Emran Hossain Prince, Former Divisional Judge Rejaul Karim Channu, Shariful Alam, District Secretary Mazharul Islam, Sadar Upazila Chairman Shariful Islam, Md. Amiruzzaman, Khaled Saifullah Sohel and Hazi Israil Miah.
Mirza Fakrul also alleged that, the attacks on the Hindu Community, their houses, shops, temples continue one after another since Awami League assumed power. The ruling party men are busy occupying land and property of the minority people.
