BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s condition has gotten worse, her older sister Selima Rahman said following a visit on Friday.
“She’s not being able to stand up,” BNP Chairperson’s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar said quoting Khaleda Zia’s sister.
He said that the former premier’s family went to visit her at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) cabin block on Friday and stayed there for nearly one-and-half hours.
At the end of the visit, Selima Rahman said that Khaleda’s condition has worsened and she is unable to eat properly.
Khaleda Zia, who is serving a 17-year prison term in two corruption cases, was transferred to BSMMU on April 1 this year for treatment from the Old Central Jail in city’s Nazim Uddin Road.
