Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that Khaleda Zia may go abroad for medical treatment through legal process.
He was responding to a question from reporters at a function held in the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) Hall at Kakrail in the capital on Saturday (June 11).
The Home Minister said the court had directed that former prime minister “Khaleda Zia could seek treatment only in the country”. So if Khaleda Zia wants anything more, then she has to inform the court. The court will take the decision.
Regarding the recent attack on the police, he said, the police are doing their duty properly to ensure the security.
Occasionally, there are isolated incidents where the police have been attacked. Such incidents are tragic.
