BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is going to sit in a meeting with the top leaders of her party-led 20-party alliance to discuss the country’s latest political situation and work out its next course of action.
“The meeting of the 20-party alliance will be held at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office around 8:30pm,” Khaleda’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan
told UNB on Tuesday. A BNP leader close to Khaleda wishing anonymity said the 20-party leaders will discuss the country’s latest political situation and chalk out its next course of action. He said issues like the Chief Justice’s resignation, upcoming city polls, including Rangpur ones, framework of the election time government, Khaleda’s Suhrawardy Udyan Rally and Cox’s Bazar tour and her plan to visit some other cities and districts may come up for discussions at the meeting.
