Khaleda sends condolence message to UK PM

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia sent her condolence message to UK Prime Minister Theresa May on Monday over the recent terror attack near British parliament, and expressing her party’s strong position against extremism. BNP special secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon handed it over to the British High Commission political wing chief here.
In her letter, he said Khaleda expressed her profound shock over the casualties in the terror attack and solidarity with the government and the
people of the UK. She also conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and the people of the UK and conveyed early recovery of those injured, he added.
Five people were killed and about 40 injured in London after a car ploughed into pedestrians and a suspected Islamist-inspired attacker stabbed a policeman close to Britain’s parliament on March 22.
