Staff Reporter :Bangladesh Nationalist Party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia returns home today (Saturday) afternoon after over two months of her stay in London.Following the lasted development in the country’s political arena, She (Khaleda Zia) is returning home on Saturday ‘without completing her medical treatment’, according to party sources.Khaleda will reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 5pm on Saturday in a regular flight of Emirates Airlines. On September 16, Khaleda Zia went to London on a personal tour for her eye treatment and celebratingEid-ul-Azha there with her family members. Though it was a two-week tour, Begum Khaleda delayed her return, triggering various speculations. In a statement BNP assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Joni on Friday called upon the leaders and workers of BNP, its front organisations and student wing to present at HSIA to receive the party Chairperson.As there was a speculation that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia might not return home, frustration had gripped the leaders and workers of the party at all levels.Meanwhile, BNP’s senior leaders on several occasions said that after her return party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will announce new programme to oust the government.
