BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia held a meeting with her party BNP’s senior leaders at her Gulshan office in the city on Sunday night and discussed the country’s latest political situation and the strategy of the post-Eid anti-government movement.
Several members of the party’s Standing Committee, members of Chairperson’s advisory council, vice-chairman and joint-secretary generals attended the meeting.
A BNP leader said that the meeting took place before the BNP chief’s visit to London later this week for medical treatment and to meet her eldest son Tarique Rahman.
The BNP leader said that Khaleda Zia gave the leaders necessary directions so that they carry out the party’s organisational activities during her stay in London.
