BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is scheduled to leave Dhaka for Saudi Arabia today to perform Umrah.
“The chairperson will leave the capital for Macca at 9:05 pm,” said her Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel to risingbd.
The BNP chief will stay in Saudi Arabia as a royal guest just like every year, Sohel said.
During the visit, Khaleda will be accompanied by several others including her family members and Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel.
The sources also said that after one or two days of her arrival in KSA her elder son Tareque Rahman and his family members are expected to meet with her.
