BSS, Dhaka :
Awami League Presidium Member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Monday said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is hatching conspiracy against the country and its people even from abroad. “I would like tell Khaleda Zia to get prepared for general election of 2019 instead of involving yourself (Khaleda) in anti-state conspiracy from a foreign land,” he said at a discussion in the city.
Awami Swechchhasebok League organized the discussion in front of portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman marking the 69th birth anniversary of Prime minister Sheikh Hasina. Nasim hoped that the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government will come to state power again by winning the 2019 elections. “We will present massive development works, conducted by the present government, in front of the people before the next general election,” he said. Noting that different kinds of conspiracies were committed to destroy Awami league after assassination of Bangabandhu, Nasim said Sheikh Hasina had reorganized the Awami League facing lots of hurdles after coming back home in 1981 and led all democratic movements successfully from the front.
Presided over by Swechchhasebok League President Mollah M Abu Kawsar, the discussion was also addressed by general secretary Pankaj Debnath and Jatiya Press Club President Shafiqur Rahman.
