BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia held a meeting with members of party’s standing committee, the highest policymaking body of the party, on Wednesday night at her Gulshan office in the city.
Sources said that Khaleda Zia sat with the standing committee members to discuss the party’s organisational issues ahead of its sixth national council.
Began after 9:00 pm, the meeting was continuing till filing of the report at about 10:00 pm.
The meeting sources said that the SC members discussed the national council scheduled to be held on March 19. The meeting also discussed the works of different sub-committees for smoothly holding the council.
