UNB, Dhaka :
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Thursday strongly denounced and protested the terror attack near British parliament that left at least five people killed and 40 others injured.
In a statement, she said, terrorists have now built an international network and are trying to establish a reign of terror across the world in a dangerous way
“It’s incredible and disgusting the way common people’s blood is being shed due to their desperate game with death.”
Describing the terrorists as the enemies of mankind, the BNP chief said the extremists want to push the world towards the primitive barbarism by destroying all the symbols of achievements of civilization.
“Effective steps must be taken all over the world to curb them (terrorists). Or else, the humankind will fall into a directionless deep darkness,” Khaleda observed.
She expressed her profound shock over the casualties in the terror attack and conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and the people of the UK. “I strongly believe that the UK government will be able to put the offenders on trial by facing the emerging situation with patience and courage.”
