Staff Reporter :BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is scheduled to address a public rally in Jamalpur this (Saturday) afternoon. She will also distribute relief materials among the recent flood-hit people in the district. Khaleda Zia left Dhaka for Jamalpur yesterday (Friday) afternoon. She stayed overnight at Jamuna Resort in Tangail. She will leave Tangail for Jamalpur this morning. The rally will be held at Zilla School premises in the district town. Top leaders of other partners of the BNP-led 20-party alliance will also address the rally. The rally will be held protesting killing, abduction, forced disappearance and torture by the government and demanding arrangement of fresh Parliamentary election under a non-party government system. A number of gates were set up on the way of the rally venue, welcoming Khaleda Zia. Banner and festoons were also hanged in Jamalpur district town and other areas of the district.
