Khaled Monsur Chowdhury of Bangladesh was elected Vice-President of Asian Goju Ryu Karate Federation (AGKF) in the congress of AGKF held at the congress in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia recently. Khaled Monsur Chowdhury was also elected General Secretary of South Asian Goju Ryu Karate Federation.
Meanwhile, Taksimuzzaman of Bangladesh bagged silver in the -67 Kg (Cadet Division) and Shahnuma Afrin won bronze in -65 Kg (Women’s Division) of the 5th Asian Goju Ryu Kararte Championship held at the Charas Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur which concluded recently. A total of 20 Asian countries took part in the Championship.
