Khairul Wasi busy with music, teaching

Different genre’s singer of present time Khairul Wasi was the first runner-up in Channel i Bangla Gaan 2015-16. To take part in the competition, he quitted a job though that time he completed Masters in English Literature from Dhaka College. He has dedication to music. At first, he learned music from his mother Khadiza Begum. Later, he received training in music from his uncle Md Ali at his own village Jagannatdi of Modhukhali in Faridpur and also from Shyamol Kumar Bhowmik, Abinash Das, among others.
Wasi’s first EP album compilation of three songs was released under the banner of Dhruba Music Station. Music of all the songs was composed by himself.
Song of Paglami in play Kolpotorur Golpo, song Buker Jomin in play Satar, song Parisa in play Crush, Title song in play Tui Shudhu Aamar-e and song Aamar Jibon in play Depression are Wasi rendered popular songs. He came into discussion for these songs.
Wasi informed that within very short time his written and composed two songs -Meghla Dine and Dorodia will be released soon. Therefore, his more songs will be released. For this reason, he is busy with them now. He lent his voice for play-back song in Arun Chowdhury’s film Altabanu. Today is his birthday. He is also working as a teacher where he received training in music for seven years, he also said.
