Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain visited the National Press Club here yesterday.
During his visit he met the president and general secretary of the Jatiya Press Club, Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman and Quamrul Islam Chowdhury.
The minister toured the second floor of the Club with its office-bearers who handed down a letter to him requesting assistance from him for the completion of construction of its second floor.
Earlier, the minister exchanged views with the managing committee members of the Club.
Among others Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Local Government Secretary Abdul Malek, Amanullah Kabir and others were present.
