Health condition of former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Khandker Mahbub Hossain improved on Thursday.
Currently, he is on life support in the Evercare Hospital in the capital since Wednesday.
“His health condition is improving gradually. All of his organs are now responding well,” Advocate Masud Rana, an aid of Khandker Mahbub Hossain told The New Nation on Thursday night citing his physicians.
“Doctors said they are hopeful that Khandker Mahbub Hossain will be brought out from the life support within two days,” Masud Rana said.
He was given life support at Evercare Hospital
since 5:30 pm on Wednesday after his physical condition deteriorated, said his fellow Advocate Masud Rana.
Khandker Mahbub was admitted in the said hospital on August 16 after he tested corona positive and has been receiving treatment in the hospital since then.
He started his journey as an Advocate on January 31 in 1965 and was enrolled for the High Court in 1967.
He was elected SCBA President for four times, and Vice-Chairman two times of the Bangladesh Bar Council. He is now a Vice-Chairman of BNP.
