as part of fighting the novel coronavirus. And as the activities of all the courts of the country are remaining closed due to the pandemic, some of the lawyers have fallen in economically troubled situation in all the bars of the country. So I am requesting the Bangladesh Bar Council authorities to grant donations from the relief fund of the bar council to those lawyers who are new and have fallen in trouble situation amid pandemic.”
“When I was the vice-chairman of the bar council, we donated to the needy lawyers from the relief fund of the bar council during the times of disasters. Bar council has a relief fund. Besides, bar council could take an initiative to help the new and troubled lawyers in the ongoing crisis situation by collection a fund from the common lawyers,” added the senior lawyer. The concerned bars might prepare a list of the anxious lawyers.
