BNP Vice-Chairman and former President of Supreme Court Bar Association got the party nomination to contest in the ensuing Parliament polls from Barguna-2 Constituency.
The party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Tuesday handed over nomination letter to him to contest with ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol.
The veteran leader is working with the party’s grassroots, leaders and activists in the constituency comprising Betagi, Bamna and Patharghata upazilas.
Khandaker Mahbub said, “If the election is held in free, fair and inclusive manner, the people of the area will elect the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol enormously. If I elected, I am will work hard to develop this area.”
