The vigilance activities of Karnaphuli Gas Co. Limited are going on at Boddarhat Bus Terminal , Chandgaon, East Nasirabad, Khaja Road, South Bakolia, Chalk Bazar and Bakolia areas.
Vigilance team disconnected one commercial ,one captive and 111 consumer connections and 360 burners were also disconnected . Regular cases were filed against the illegal users according to Gas Act- 2010 .
Engineer Abdul Halim, Manager ( Vigilance ) Engineer Mohammed Alamgir Hossain and Engineer Polas Sarker were present during the drive .
AGM of Peninsula held: The Annual General Meeting ( AGM) of Peninsula Limited was held on Wednesday at Chittagong Club Auditorium.
Five per cent cash dividend was declared for the year 2016-17.
The AGM approved the financial statement and reappointed Dr Fosiul Alam as independent director and approved of Dr Sheik Shofiul Azam as Independent Director.
