Keys of 140 dwelling houses built under care and supervision of Armed Forces for the poor, landless and river eroded families at New Char Ashrayan Project, a remote char in Nilkomol union, being handed over to Haimchar Upazila Parishad Chairman Noor Hossain Patwary and UNO Chai Thoaila Chowdhury at a ceremony at Upazila Parishad recently. Major Tasnim Farhan of Cumilla Cantonment handed over the keys. Upazila Vice Chairperson Shahnaj Begum, Project Implementation officer and concerned others were present at that time. The new houses will be handed over to the owners shortly.
