Kazi Soma started her music career inspired by watching rendition of legendary singer of the Subcontinent Runa Laila. To pay respect to her, Soma has established her career in the field of music. Day by day number of her stage performances is being increased. To perform here and there of the capital, Soma has to be prepared every time now.
While rendering song Kazi Soma was introduced with several play directors. They also gave her offer for acting. But Soma did not show her interest for acting because her intention is to render song only, nothing else. Recently she got Personality Excellence Award organised by Commitment Cultural Academy.
On stage, Soma has been performing since 2007. During childhood she has an attachment with classical music. Since 2005 she has been receiving training from Ustad Sanjeeb Dey in classical music. Today is her birthday. She will pass time today with her family. She said, “I always feel comfortable to introduce myself as a singer.”
Hailed from Banchharampur of Brahmanbaria and daughter of late Kazi Ataur Rahman and Hasna Begum, Farhan Reza Swapno is only son of Kazi Soma. Her son is her world now, Soma said.
