Kashem elected Southeast Bank’s EC Chairman

MA Kashem has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Southeast Bank Limited in its 636th board meeting held recently.
Kashem is the founder chairman and director of Southeast Bank Limited.
He is also the member North South University Trust and founder life-member of North South University Foundation. He has served four times as its chairman and was also chairman of NSU Foundation’s Endowment Committee several times.
Kashem is the former President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the apex body of all the business communities of Bangladesh. He was the Chairman of Arbitration Tribunal of FBCCI. He is the past Chairman of the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB) which represented all Private Universities of the country.
Kashem was a member of Board of Trustees of Hamdard Laboratories (WAQF) Bangladesh, the leading producer of herbal medicines in the sub-continent for over 17 (seventeen years. He was the President of SAHIC Trust (Society for Assistance to Hearing Impaired Children), the only voluntary organization rendering health care assistance of the ear, nose and throat services to destitute and poor patients.
