The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday grilled three deputy general managers of Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Limited, a sister concern of Petrobangla, in connection with a complaint that Petrobangla’s former Chairman Professor Dr Hossain Mansur embezzled huge money through forgery.
They are Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company’s Deputy General Manager (DGM) Abdullah Al Mamun, DGM Sirajul Islam and former DGM Ahsan Habib.
The team led by ACC Deputy Director Rittik Shaha interrogated them.
An allegation has been raised against Hossain Mansur that he earned a big amount of money by appointing employees of 13 organisations under Petrobangla’s jurisdiction. Earlier, the ACC interrogated Hossain Mansur.
