Karan Johar issues an apology post the delay of the title track of Kalank
Kalank is one of the highly anticipated films and is a dream project for producer Karan Johar. Today, the makers of the film were supposed to release the title track of the film. However, due to an unexpected issue, the release of the song has been pushed by a day. Karan Johar took to social media to announce the same.
The producer also revealed that the music team of the song – Pritam Chakraborty, singer Arijit Singh and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya wanted to present the best version of the song, hence the track is delayed by a day. Fans were eagerly waiting for the launch of the song since a small portion of the track was featured in the teaser. That was enough to create a buzz amongst the audience.
The film is a period drama that is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in leading roles. Kalank is slated to release on April 17, 2019.
