We very well know the kind of equation Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan share. The same goes for Kjo’s equation with SRK’s kids, Aryan, and AbRam. The filmmaker had mentioned in an interview that if Aryan ever debuts in Bollywood, Karan and only Karan will launch him.
During an interaction with a popular daily, the ace filmmaker was asked about the same again. To which he replied, “Aryan is my godchild. Currently, he is in Los Angeles and he has four years of university ahead of him. When he comes back he is going to decide if he wants to be in the movies. And if he does, of course, I will be a big part of it as a director or just as a guiding support. For me, Aryan being launched is like my son being launched. I will be this hyper relative breathing down his neck.”
Aryan is all grown up with six-packs and looks all set to enter filmdom but Karan still feels there is time for his debut. “I feel so proud. Of course, I track him all the time. When I see any images of him online, he gets messages from me in the middle of the night. I ask him, ‘What are you doing, who is this person with you in the frame?’ I feel like a possessive parent who wants to know exactly what he is up to,” he reveals.
When he was further asked if he has ever imagined the father-son duo SRK-Aryan in the same frame, he stated, “I think SRK and Aryan will be totally dynamic in the same frame, as they are great with each other. I have spent so much time with them and seen the relationship they share.”
We can’t wait for all of this to come true.
