Kapasia veteran lawyer Prof Quader passes away

Funeral prayers of eminent veteran lawyer of Gazipur District Judge’s Court Professor MA Quader were held at Kapasia Degree College ground on Thursday, August 5 at 11:30 am. He died of a heart attack at Lubana Hospital in Uttara at 9.40 pm on Wednesday. He suffered a heart attack and was treated at the hospital for some time.
Former Vice-Principle of Kapasia Degree College, the late Advocate MA Quader, a resident of Banar Hawla village in Upazila Sadar, engaged in the legal profession till the end of his working life. He had earlier served in the Pakistan Air Force. He later taught at Kapasia Pilot High School and Kapasia Degree College in the Department of Islamic History and Culture with considerable reputation. He was 92 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by 3 sons and 5 daughters, grandchildren and many others. After Janaza prayers, he was buried next to his wife’s grave in the family graveyard of Banar Hawla village.

Amanat Hossain Khan, Gazipur District Bar Association President Advocate Md.Siddikur Rahman, GS Adv. Md. Zakir Hossain, Adv. Mazharul Islam Selim, Acting Principal of Kapasia Degree College Ali Ershad Hossain Azad, Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Asaduzzaman Asad, Kapasia Sadar UP Chairman Sakhawat Hossain Pradhan, Former Chairman Mofiz Uddin, Azgar Hossain Khan, Former Chairman of Gosinga Union Parishad Nurul Islam Fakir, Neighboring Journalist Saiful Islam Shaheen and others. Later, Advocate Kamran Quader, son of the late Mejho, expressed his gratitude to the worshipers present and offered prayers.
Besides, local MP Simeen Hussain Rimi, Kapasia Upazila BNP guardian Shah Riazul Hannan Riaz, former president of Krishka League Central Committee and former chairman of Upazila Parishad Md Motahar Hossain Mollah, former chairman of Upazila Parishad Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Khandaker Azizur Rahman Pera and Shahid Tajuddin were also killed. Government College Principal Alhaj Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury and other leaders of various professions are expressing their deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
