In order to implement the 18-point directives of the government, the Kapasia police organized as awareness rally and distributed masks among the people on Tuesday.
The awareness rally was held in front of the police station. Additional SP Farzana Yasmin, who is in charge of Kaliganj Circle, warned that action would be taken in accordance with the Infectious Diseases, Prevention and Control Act, 2018 if anybody is found not wearing mask in violation of government guidelines and hygiene rules.
She stopped the vehicles and alerted the passengers and pedestrians about the impact of coronavirus and distributed masks among them.
Kapasia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Alam Chand, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Mohammad Moniruzzaman Khan, Officer-in-Charge (Operations) Sheikh Amirul Islam and other officers and employees of the police station were present.
