Kangana Ranaut is ready to star as a Kabaddi player again in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next untitled film. The film marks the first collaboration between these two boss ladies. The film is expected to be a sports drama and Kangana will reportedly start shooting for the film soon after she returns from London. The untitled project is expected to go on floors in October this year. Speaking about the film, we hear that Veere Di Wedding star, Sumeet Vyas may be seen opposite Kangana in the film.
Talking about the same, a source close to the film informed a daily, “Sumeet has had two meetings with the makers but is yet to sign on the dotted line. He is a Kangana fan, the two have appreciated each other’s work in the past. Sumeet is keen to come on board.”
The source further added, “Kangana’s Mental Hai Kya wraps up on July 11. She will immediately fly back to Mumbai and complete some patchwork of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
She has to devote two days for a brand shoot. But, for the most part of August, she and Ashwiny will be busy doing workshops for the kabaddi film. Ashwiny is screening national-level kabaddi champions’ profiled to find the one who can handhold Kangana through the sport.
