Ekushey Book Fair started its journey. National Film Award winner noted singer Kanakchapa gave her voice for the title song of the book fair. Lyrics written by Jamal Reza and composed by Farid Ahmed she gave her voice for the song titled Boi aamar priyo bondhu, bhalo bondhu boi, surey surey boli tai, boi ebong boi. Already its recording has been done at Farid Ahmed’s studio Resh.
While talking in this regard Kanakchapa said, “Lyrics of the song was simple. In fact, I tried to render the song simply as everybody can relate it easily. Its music composition was nice. Farid Bhai composed well. I think its aim will become successful. Round the month this song will be telecasted on Channel i during the book fair.”
Meanwhile, Kanakchapa started her career as a writer in Ekushey Book Fair in 2010.
