Today is the birthday of National Film Award winner singer Kanak Chapa. But she has no special plan to celebrate the day. She will pass the day along with her family today.
She said, “In fact, on my birthday I never arrange anything. My fans or students of my school arrange something. But this year nothing is scheduled to be arranged due to having family engagement. Everybody pray for me.”
Kanak Chapa also informed that she will perform in a stage show on September 28. Her solo album is Padmopukur which music was composed by Moinul Islam Khan.
She first gave her voice for play-back in movie Bidhata under Alauddin Ali’s composition. Later, she also play-backed in several movies including Dilip Biswas’ Ashwikar.
Once it was seen that Shabnur’s movies meant Kanak Chapa’s voice. In 2016, her first solo art exhibition was held. As a writer, she started her career through publication of a book titled Sthobir Jajabor. Later she also published three books.
