Kamruzzaman Selim, writer and researcher, has obtained the ‘Atish Dipankar Gold Medal 2014’ for his outstanding contributions in writing article.
Atish Dipankar Gobeshona Parishad handed over the award at a discussion and award giving ceremony at a hotel in the city on Thursday. The discussion was organised under the titled-“Communal Harmony: Bangladesh Perspective”.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque MP attended the function as the chief guest with Chairman of the Parishad Golam Quader in the chair.
Language veteran Rashwan Ara Bachchu, Dr Rafiqul Islam attended the function, among others.
