Parliament member of Narsingdi -2 constituency and General Secretary Narsingdi DSA Kamrul Ashraf Khan collected nomination papers to contest for the President post of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) in the federation election scheduled for April 30.
Councilor of Tongi KC Nurul Islam Nuru also collected nomination paper to contest for the post of BFF President on the first day of selling nomination papers on Saturday.
Vice-President of BFF Tabith Mohammad Awal also purchased nomination for his old post of Vice President as a non voter.
Besides, five others -Iqbal Hossain (present EC member), Hazi Tipu Sultan (Muslim Institute), Mohibur Rahman (Diplai JS), Alhaj Sabbir Hossain (Purbachal Parishad) and Saifur Rahman (non-voter)-collected nomination papers to contest for BFF Executive member posts.
The BFF has earned Tk 3.5 lakh on the first day of the two-day long selling nomination formalities on Saturday.
The election commissioner of BFF has fixed April 18 as last date of withdrawal of nomination papers instead of April 18-12.
The non-voter candidate will participate in the BFF election subject to their involvement in federation active activities in the federation for last two years.
