State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder on Sunday asked the officials of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) to settle all investment related files within a week.
“We will take necessary steps against the corrupt officials of the Industries Ministry and its subordinate offices,” he said, speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration session of two-day “Annual BSCIC Conference-2019” at the Small and Cottage Industries Training Institute in the city, according to a press release.
The state minister also asked the BSCIC officials to be more active for establishing local raw material based industries as per the Awami League’s election manifesto to ensure urban facilities in villages.
