Kamal for boosting coop with Denmark in agriculture, food processing

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Sunday said Bangladesh and Denmark can boost cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food processing alongside utilizing the experiences of Denmark in ship building.
Kamal said this when Danish Ambassador in Dhaka Mikael Hemnity Winther made a courtesy call on him at his office.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues relating to bilateral interests, said a press release.
Putting emphasis on further boosting the bilateral relations of the two countries, AHM Mustafa Kamal, commonly known as Lotus Kamal, said scope is there to further enhance the cooperation of these two countries in various fields.
Highlighting various successes and achievements of the present government in different fields under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said Bangladesh has made unimaginable progress over the last nine years under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Mentioning that a bright investment-friendly environment is now prevailing in the country, Kamal invited more Danish investment in the fields of exploration and extraction of coal, granite, oil and gas in the sea.
He said Bangladesh requires around $40 billion investment in the energy and power sector to materialize the goal of Vision 2021 and 2041 and urged the Danish businesses to come and invest in Bangladesh.
